Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Supervision of all total loss and fire/theft claims within the unit. This includes providing direction for the Claims personnel for investigating, documenting, negotiating, and closing of claim files in an accurate and equitable manner per company procedures and goals.

- Completion of open and closed file audits within company guidelines to determine proper handling and establishment of reserves.

- Submitting monthly and other periodical reports to and as requested by the Director of Claims.

- Hiring and training of new employees within the unit as well as assisting in an ongoing multi line training program for all employees.

- Completion of semi-annual reviews on unit personnel.

- Working with the Claims Committee to solve coverage questions, liability questions, claim value, legal position and other problems which may arise.

- Work with all claims personnel through open communication to enhance increased productivity, efficient work flow, and positive attitudes in order to achieve desired goals.

- The candidate should have Min 8 years of exp. in Claims Management & Operations.

- The candidate should be from general insurance background.

- Should have experience in customer Retention & Renewals, Compliance, Fraud investigation, etc.

- Should have excellent communication skills.

- Should have team building experience.
