Strategy Develop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the information technology needs of the company to ensure that the hardware and software capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company's growth and objectivesLead in planning and implementing enterprise information systems and achieve more effective and cost beneficial enterprise-wide IT operations and delivery of Ops and projectsAdvise senior management on strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of business goals and objectives
Develop and maintain corporate policies and standards aimed at maximizing effectiveness and minimizing costs related to the acquisition, implementation and operation of IT systemsProvide advice on evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of information systems, ensuring appropriate INVESTMENT in strategic and operational systemsManaging and monitoring Tech Infra financial budget (capital and operational) for the organizationEnsuring continuous IT services delivery by way of SLAs, regular reviews etcEnsure adherence / achievement of targets cost and operational by effectively following SLAs.
Set up internal/ external escalation mechanism and closure of issues Bring in efficiency in IT Operations through automation and implementation of standards like ITILResponsible for innovation that is relevant for the organization and industry.
Keep current with the trends and changes in the technology space.Responsible for overall Business Continuity Planning (BCP) of the organization from IT and Operations standpoint.
Relationship and Contracts Responsible for the management of multiple information and communications systems and projects.
Review all hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts, soliciting involvement and participation of other management team members as appropriate
Maintain contact with IT suppliers and maintains knowledge of current technology, equipment, prices and terms of agreements to minimize the INVESTMENT required to meet established service levels
Manage relationships with vendors for sales, service and support of all information systems and technology including requirements for Ops and projects.
Serve as the primary contact to software, hardware and network-related vendors, consultants and partners.
Customer Relationship Management Operational reviews, Projects reviews etcMaintaining relationship with NPCI, Visa, MasterCard etc.
Risk Management Be responsible for the development, review and certification of all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans
Oversee and evaluate system security and back up proceduresMaintain problem logs, documenting system errors or defects
Facilitate correction of any system failures and serve as contact point for all system solutions.
Create risk mitigation procedures Control Design, implement and evaluate the systems that support end users in the productive use of computer hardware and software.
Evaluate systems design and development process, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, pilot testing, installation, evaluation and operational management.
Evaluate alternatives, perform appropriate cost benefit analysis and recommend solutions that maximize effectiveness and minimize costs commensurate with acceptable risks.
Establish standards of performance and monitor conformance for staff (through performance review) and vendors (through service level agreements)Evaluate overall operations of computing and information technology functions and recommend enhancements
Quality and Compliance Ensure that all information systems and networks operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory agencies and legal requirements
Establish company infrastructure to support and guide individual divisions/departments/sites in computing and information technology efforts
Constantly improve the compliance and quality levels within the systems of the company Training Supervise the development and maintenance of user documentation, including complete user manuals, FAQs and help files
