Job Description

At least out of 25 Years, 15 Years should be in FMCG Domain

Roles and Responsibilities :

Planning & Execution :

- Plan, lead and execute the annual / periodic business plan

- Ensure that the business exceeds its committed gross margin and Return on capital employed (ROCE), in collaboration with all Functions, ensure that new business/ products developed launched by organisation are competitive and completed on schedule.

- Presents new ideas and cash flow strategies to Promoter/board of directors and other company officers

- Develops and implements growth strategies

- Create and enhance Brand

People Management:

- Should be able handle a large number of employees

- Provides mentoring to all employees, including management

- Motivate staff to meet or surpass organisational and sales goals

- Coordination with human resources department to recruit skilled talent and keep the best employees

- Solve any inter departmental issues that arise before any problems hamper the daily working

- Have to have good relations with all the employees as theirs is the face which represents the management to the employees

- Address employee issues on a regular basis

MIS:

- Timely reporting to the Board and Promoters

- Make reports for the higher management which are easy and understandable

- Predictability of results and absence of surprises

Top Line Achievement:

- Achievement of topline targets

- Business growth as per the agreed business plans

Bottom Line Achievement:

- Keep a close watch on all the finances of various departments

- Provide entrepreneurial flair and manage risks in growing and operating the company's busines

Cost control Initiative:

- Financial Discipline - Credit, Policy adherence

- Local Budgets implementation

Other:

- Oversees daily operations and makes adjustments as necessary

- Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes:

- Improvements in on time deliveries and Quality.

- Ensure the smooth functioning of all the processes in the company

Core Sales Skills:

- Market credibility and Institution familiarity

- Good in arithmetic's and negotiations, commercially sound

- Result & Target oriented, Committed, Execution speed

- Understanding of Market dynamics

- Client Servicing and public relations
