The candidate will have people management and leadership responsibilities, be responsible for managing all the categories (including reporting, driving unit, revenue and margin growth, and executing promotions), negotiating with key vendors, and working with stakeholder teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience that will result in category leadership in the online market segment. The candidate will gain exposure to the key opportunities and/or major challenges in building and scaling of mygubbi, which will assist in improving revenues and visibility of the company.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
? Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and global trends, and continually monitor competitor or industry developments.
? Develop a short-term and long-term plan for business growth and work with senior management stakeholders on a regular basis on the state of key business metrics and initiatives to achieve category vision.
? Contributes in development of Range Architecture based on consumer segment insights, regional requirements, marketplace knowledge, and competitive data.
? Manage inventory, open-to-buy, inventory health, item-level forecasting, assortment planning.
? Participate in manufacturer and vendor reviews; drive vendor operational improvement through measurement and process improvement.
? Drives Business growth, and Market Share of the Specific Category with strong product, competition and consumer analytics.
? Contributes in creation of sales plans and completely owns up the execution of the same to maximize sell-thrust of the inventory made available to sell.
? Monitoring product lifecycle of every product in the category and take early calls for opportunity maximization
? Manage inbound shipments- fill rate, ASNs, operational issues, lead time.
? Analyze inventory position to determine inventory liability, determine exit strategy for unproductive inventory.
? Manage Vendor relationships - manage supplier/partner contracts, manage day-to-day relationships, and negotiate and secure marketing funds.
