We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organizations ongoing operations and procedures. You will be the companys second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business and will be responsible for the companys day-to-day operations, including revenue and sales growth; expense, cost and margin control and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management.
The COO is a key member of the senior management team; youll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, wed like to meet you.
The goal is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth of the Company.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
Outstanding Organizational and leadership abilities.
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Responsible for the day to day Operation management at company and store level and Store Managers liaising with all support functions within the business to deliver operational excellence.
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Upgrade and implement an appropriate system of policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures.
Drive sales and maximise profitability across the company portfolio.
Implement strategic business plans.
Own the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) of the Stores and continuously strengthen them in accordance with global best practices.
Responsible for the entire process of Marketing & Promotional activities.
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
Ensure the delivery of presentation and commercial standards throughout all stores nationally.
Maintain excellent standards in all areas of operational activity and drive sales and profitability through the performance and development of Store Managers, whilst setting and managing store budgets.
Responsible for carrying out such other functions as the Company may from time to time reasonably request you to carry out.
Store Opening & Managing.
Managing good relationship with vendors for tie-up (Business Development).
Heading the sourcing & merchandising team.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Sound knowledge and practical experience of Jewellery Retail industry.
Been in leadership position for 8-10 years.
Ability to lead, plan and manage change.
Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills.
Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning.
Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies.
