Job Description

CFO (VP) – Finance & Accounts
o You are an integral part of the Company’s senior management team Reporting to the Group CFO & serves a true business partner and financial counsel to the Group CFO involving strategic planning, policy development and implementation, compliance and reporting in support of corporate objectives
o Provides insight into the business and sound financial analysis for senior management
o Identifies new profit opportunities within the existing business
o Supports expansion efforts into new markets
o Ensures the financial integrity of the organization with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley
o You are accountable for the integrity and accuracy of Company’s financial statements
o Accurately report financial and other information that forecasts the company's business activity and financial position as required to meet business reporting and financial regulation needs internally and externally
o Provide support and ensure that corporate financial policies, procedures and controls are in use and fully effective at the Company
o Effectively manages and develops the Controller and clerical accounting functions

Responsibilities include:
Financial Analysis:
Provide strong analysis and communication to senior management on financial matters
Benchmark financial performance against plan and advise and implement effective strategies to effect change/resolve issues as necessary
Provide financial evaluations for acquisition analysis and due diligence as necessary
Prepare material for, and communicate effectively with, executive management in customer and candidate merger/acquisition organizations
Provide routine forecasting to identify and monitor key business drivers and variances - advising and implementing appropriate action when necessary

Compliance and Reporting:
Develop and maintain accurate and effective financial statements
Ensure adequate financial controls and all Sarbanes Oxley related processes are established and maintained
Maintain proper controls over assets including working capital, fixed assets, capital expenditure budgets/ justifications/ approvals/ audits
Coordinate and oversee internal and external audit procedures
Provide efficient, effective basic accounting systems, including general ledger, cost accounting, credit and collection, and accounts payable, payroll

Budgeting & Control:
Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
Work with the CFO to draft and maintain the annual operating budget
Actively participate in the preparation of the AOP plans, comparison of actual performance against the budget, identifying and analyzing variance devise and monitor the implementation of necessary actions
Controlling payment and expenses in effective, timely and accurate manner
Ensuring revenue reporting & revenue assurance

Taxation:
Ensure Tax planning and Compliance in accordance with corporate guidelines

Treasury and funds management:
Ensuring effective liquidity management

Partnering and support to business functions:
Developing and enhancing Business Finance support to Business Partners as well as network business finance teams.

Asset integrity and Credit Management:
Defining SOPs & strict adherence checks to Asset & Credit related controls to minimize enterprise risks

Qualification And Experience:
1. CA/ CWA with 15+ years of progressive experience in BPO/ ITES or IT or Service Industry and demonstrating the required competency level in the areas of responsibility for this position
2. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of partnering with the Group CFO to drive profit and growth
3. Strong business leader with financial pedigree who can seamlessly step-in when necessary for Group CFO
