Job Description


- Carry out market research through industry contacts, publications, trade events, news to identify ideas for growth.

- Generate new leads with the aim of creating more sales worldwide.

- Data-mine key contacts of organizations from websites like LinkedIn, Zoom-info etc.

- Reach out directly or through partners to target prospective customers.

- Constantly upgrading your business development techniques, and help in enhancing the company knowledge base by participating in training and educational initiatives.

- Scheduling appointments, preparing and delivering presentation to the client, having researched their business and requirements.

- Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer loyalty through excellent customer service as well as meeting all client needs.

- Work as part of a team and closely with other departments within the organization.

Key skills and qualifications of a Business Developer role:

- A degree or equivalent qualification is recommended, but a proven background in business development.

- A proven track record in strong presentation skills.

- Strong track record of business-to-business sales at a corporate level.

- Strong research and strategic analysis skills.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to cold call potential clients.

- Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and associated programs.
