The Sales & Business Development Executive provides customer support both to inside and outside customers, as well as selling or rental products/ services by establishing and keeping a line of communication with customers.
This position is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and reports to Director Sales & Business Development (India).
The selected candidate apart from covering Gujarat, have to travel to Mumbai time to time to arrange appointment and meet various clients.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Meeting prospective customers, build rapport and find out various requirements for second- hand equipment
Responsible for handling all aspects of his/ her assigned accounts in the given territory.
Create sales or rental quotes for the customers, arrange meetings,
Prepare correspondence, and fulfills customers needs to ensure customer satisfaction including pre & post sales or rental activity.
Keep an eye on the upcoming and ongoing tenders of various E&P clients, drilling contractors, service providers etc. especially for second- hand equipment sales or rent.
Exchange dialogue daily with customers as needed.
Extensive visits with customers to obtain new business or to conduct courtesy calls.
Confer with customers by telephone/ email in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders, etc.
Report to the concerned team on daily/ weekly/ monthly basis
Attend seminars, exhibitions, presentations and business meetings
BE/ BSc. / MSc. , MBA preferred
Age period 28- 38 preferred
5 years experience in the sales of oil & gas capital equipment or with service companies
Must have strong organization and communication skills.
Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
Must be Computer literate with sufficient knowledge of words, excel and power- point
Ability to communicate findings effectively in oral and written English
Willingness to work as part of a team, contributing ideas to improve processes
