To provide Functional production Support on In house Accounting General Ledger for users in UK and Americas. Key Responsibilities : Production Support Be responsible for functional production support for finance users in APAC, UK and Americas Assistance to maintain the application and its workflows Perform root cause analysis for resolution of user and system issues Co-ordinate with IT to solve production issues Raise service now tickets and incidents for issues Timely escalation of issues as per escalation matrix Adherence to the support procedure guidelines as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Dashboards: Create Dashboard for Management Reporting Testing (Involvement in System Testing and UAT): Synchronize all types of testing Raise Jira tickets for new issues identified in production Perform system testing (in collaboration with other BA's and IT) Provide production support and obtain sign off's on the test results. Training: Give training on new functionalities to Finance users, Support Team (incl. IT) And/or send communications to support teams presenting the new functionalities developed Update PowerPoint slides with new functionalities deployed Desired Candidate Profile: Education Background: MBA in Finance, Bachelor of Commerce, Master in Commerce, Bachelor in Science #years of experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in business and system analysis (Functional Production Support) in the financial services industry. 3 to 5 years of experience in General Ledger or Reporting Technical knowledge & Skills: Good knowledge of General Ledger / Reporting Comfortable with basic office tools (Lotus Notes, MS Word, Outlook) Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). Preferred Industry / Domain experience : Former experiences within a Finance function in Banking and Financial Services Prior experience in BFSI Domain (General Ledger) Behavioural Skills / Competencies: Good communication skill (Verbal and Written) Listening skills to elicit the user requirement and Good analytical skills to perform analysis Ability to plan, design, prepare and execute test cases (Manual and Automated) Traceability Matrix (Ability to map requirements and specifications to test cases and vice versa) Ability to analyse business functions and identify test scenarios (positive, negative, stress, regression, performance testing) Understanding of testing principles and practices and Ability to communicate effectively with Finance and IT teams Ability to work with tight deadlines Experience in working in Onsite Offshore environment Knowledge of JIRA and Service Now.
