Job Description

    Roles and responsibilities 

    Layer : P3A

    Hardware & Network

    a) Understand the need of business & convert them into BOM / design by proposing right Hardware (HW) make / model / version 

    b) Plan & Deploy solutions through advanced troubleshooting techniques.

    c) Troubleshoot complex problems like Application slowness , through use of tools like IPSla , Netflow etc. , usage of packet tracing and debug commands.

    d) Perform Analytics for complex issue resolution.

    e) Evaluate Product Platforms , carry out Proof of Concept and Integrations , Knowledge Acquisition and Transfer.


    a) Configure and carry out Complex Integrations like VSS , VPC , FabricPath

    b) Review Design for Data Center , Enterprise LAN 

    c) Develop Standards & Functionalities and implementation of the same


    a. Carry out Advanced Monitoring of IP SLA and EEM (Embedded event Management) (Applet). Design based on standard Design Templates 

    b. Assess and propose Automation Solutions for efficiency improvement Design Solutions for Enterprise / Service Provider / Data Center Environments.


    a. 1). Guide Onsite engineer to perform onsite survey and data gathering in case of connectivity issues and intermittent connectivity issues. 

    b. 2). Design covered switched network & implement a converged switched network including WLAN 

    c. 3). Verify and troubleshoot a switch with VLANs and interswitch communications

    Network Management Tools

    a. Assess infrastructure and propose improvements.

    b. Automate reporting schedules through wizards (Linux OS & Sun Solaris. 

    c. Integrate management tool to PBX

    d. Decide parameters to be monitored & customize reporting.

    e. Design and Deployment of Servers like Symposium / CC6 / CMS Graduate in any degree.
