Associate - Business Development - High Frequency Trading Firm - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS
Role & Responsibilities at job : Researching and Implementing Business Strategy: To envision and implement business strategy in India, including segments, strategies, product mix
- Sell-side Support (Pitching to Institutional Investors): Identifying leads, qualifying prospects, running marketing campaigns, and pitching to large institutions such as mutual funds and life insurers for the execution services business
- Represent client at External Events: To actively attend conferences, trade-shows and seminars on behalf of client to build new relationships
- Manage Key Strategic Relationships: Managing key relationships with wealth managers, auditors, clearing members, fund accountants, PR agencies, and bankers
- Help develop Strategic Alliances: Developing strategic partnerships with financial services and technology vendors to make joint offerings for the execution services business
- Investor Relationship Management and Servicing: End-to-end management of investor relationships, including on-boarding, query resolution, and investor communication
- Geographic Expansion of Business Operations: Expanding client presence internationally, across both the buy-side and sell-side, in US, Europe, and the Middle East
- Ad-hoc Research & Analysis: Providing support to the senior management team in business development through extensive research, analysis, and financial modeling 

Required skills:
- Strong candidates should have demonstrated experience and successful track record in building businesses across organizations. Strong educational pedigree, strong co-curricular performance, and knowledge of capital markets in India are pre-requisites for this role.
- Core knowledge of capital markets and financial instruments such as futures and options
- Strong finance skills - good understanding of accounting and valuation
- Excellent client interaction skills and strategic relationship building skills
- Curiosity and the urge to explore and be on the look-out for new business opportunities
- Excellent communication skills as the candidate will interact with - C- level executives
- Research-orientation and analytical skills are a must
- Creativity is critical as the candidate will be authoring market collateral frequently
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment"
