Job Description

A. Position Purpose setting up a centre of excellence in the space of FinTech & Innovation. There are some assets are already created as part of this COE. Like iLabs in Bangalore. The COE was also responsible for running successful Hackathon last year & Sponsor Startupbootcamp first FinTech program in India. Primary purpose Setup this COE to drive opportunities for innovation and FinTech B. Position Responsibilities Sr. Key Responsibilities 1 You will work within a team on increasing awareness of innovation and FinTech within the organisation and externally in the Mumbai - Bangalore communities. 2 You will be responsible for strategically analysing new business models, emerging technical trends, and will be supporting on product- focused, process- driven and service- led innovations. 3 From this analysis, you will spot patterns of potential partnerships and investments and will work with other divisions to develop strategies that will either accelerate existing organisational strategies, or identity new strategic opportunities. Experience Essential As such, you will have a proven track record in a similar capacity, developing strategies for a large global retail, wealth and/ or commercial bank, coupled with IT project delivery experience, typically on innovation / transformation projects. You will have a solid understanding of the FinTech sector in India with relationships to incubators, accelerators, academia, service suppliers, professional services firms, start- ups, venture capitalists, regulator (NPCI) within the industry.
