Job Description

The key job responsibilities include the following:

Strong at writing SQL scripts for data pull
Requirement gathering skills
Very Good at Data Warehousing Design principles

Project management

Manages projects in form of regular and adhoc reports high level of client interaction
Takes responsibility & manages client reporting operations & expectations end to end
Identifies detailed actions required to mitigate risks and successfully deliver a project assigned
Assists in development of persuasive management presentations and other supporting materials (such as project plans, tracking documents, meeting notes, and status reports) to drive the implementation of projects
Employs a forward looking approach focusing on potential opportunities for improvement, leading directly to actions resulting in better financial and operational metrics
Able to work with contacts across the firm to resolve tough, complex issues
Ensures open communications and quick and accurate responses to leadership requests as needed

Team Management

Leads the team - direct reports are Analysts, although team size may vary as team develops further
Regularly assesses and recommends to Senior Manager actions to ensure the continuous improvement of team processes, skillsets, business systems knowledge, general retail knowledge, and quality of output are highest possible; and to mitigate any related risks
Delegates tasks and data requests as needed to the team and manages them to completion
Has primary responsibility for HR matters related to direct reports, including regular feedback/coaching and management of the HR process (eg, mid-year and year-end reviews)
