Understand the requirements, design, develop and debug system SW in the field of automotive telematics that involves e-Call, b-Call, Geofencing,Remote control/update/diagnostics, GNSS, CAN, Modem & Connectivity.
Should have a working experience in either/all of the above mentioned technologies.
Strong understanding of the system software, drivers, system architecture, design methodologies, software platform integration with hardware and bringup is a MUST.
Perform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results.
Work well with the distributed global teams.
Should be able to generate and report the work progress with right status
Identify the technical dependencies & risks early in the stage
Define the inter module interfaces and document the same.
Candidate should be strong in C/C++ programming on Linux. QNX knowledge is advantage.
Candidate should be strong in system concepts, debugging & engineering skills
Good exposure to product development and customization with software engineering tools & practices. Agile knowledge is highly desired.
Good exposure to requirements analysis, design, coding, testing of complex and large-scale embedded system projects
Sound knowledge in communication protocols like CAN,CAN open, J1939 and OBD-II Protocols.
Software black box testing including generation of test cases is a must.
Sound knowledge in developing Embedded Products in I o T of things.
Good understanding and experience in automotive telematics field
Strong exposure to Modem, Connectivity, CAN and system software is highly desirable. Other vehicle components knowledge is a plus.
Modem understanding and SoC integration experience is a plus"
