Job Description

A varied role for Financial Accounting aspirants. It involves preparing financial information for inclusion in accounts and returns to meet accounting, regulatory and statutory requirements. LOCATION: Mumbai YOUR FUTURE EMPLOYER A leading, global financial services group serving millions of customers having billions of assets under management. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Producing monthly financial accounts by cost centre. Ensuring complete and accurate posting of transactions to the general ledger and the related accounting systems. Producing information for tax, statutory and regulatory reporting. Producing quarterly returns (eg VAT) for review by the Financial Accountant.  THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE 3 5 years of relevant Financial and Management Accounting experience  Technical accounting knowledge, IFRS. Ability to monitor a SOX compliant control process. Excellent knowledge of Excel (advanced) and PeopleSoft.
