Job Description

- Finalizing Operating Expense budget of the Bank, monitoring of actual expenditure against the budget, quarterly estimates & forecasting and monthly closing of books of accounts after ensuring proper reporting of the expenses in domestic and overseas branches

- Strategic management & monitoring the overall functioning of processes, identifying improvement areas and suggesting improvisation measures in coordination with business teams to achieve reduction in expenses.

- Reporting & Presentation to the senior management on the operating expenses of the Bank and various cost rationalization initiatives identified by the team

- Ensuring recovery of common costs from the group companies and overseas locations as per the Transfer Pricing and Cost Sharing Policy adopted by the Bank

- Responsible for reporting the operating expenses after ensuring correct allocation of the common expenses in compliance with the regulatory requirements

- Ensuring proper reporting in compliance with Accounting Standards issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

- Ensuring scrutiny of all the operating expenses related general ledger codes

- Single point contact for resolution of all the operating expenditure related issues raised by statutory, internal and RBI auditors
