Job Description

Department: Sales Location: Kolkata and Bangalore 2 positions 1. The scope of the job Job purpose: - Make new and existing customers aware of the various products of the company through effective promotional activities in various sales institutions. Key responsibilities: SALES - To review and monitor the monthly sales of products in different institutions like clubs, discs, pubs hotels etc - To achieve secondary sales volume brand wise - Monitor Competitors activity in Market - Monitor effective use of POP materials along with Co's products prominently displayed at all Sales Institutions - To maintain market share in Sales Institutions - To ensure availability of products in different sales institutions. PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES - Planning and monitoring innovative promotional activities in various Sales Institutions successfully. - To work out a detailed action plan for new year sponsorship/events REPORTING - To prepare an audit of a panel of outlets by the beginning of the month. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP - To attend to quality and other trade complaints and settle them amicably as soon as possible SUBORDINATE DEVELOPMENT - To give on-the-job training to subordinates - To identify training programs for self. Budget responsibilities: As per Budget Number of direct reports: Based on Territory 2. Business context Reports to : Regional Sales Manager/national Inst. Sales Manager/Branch Sales Manager Structure or context: Key contacts : Internal: National Institutional Sales Manager RSM Branch Sales Manager Marketing Team External: Customers, Distributors, Suppliers, Excise Dept, Institutions 3. Measures to success - Brand Visibility in various events - Market share of the product - Number of institutions where the product is offered. Desired Candidate Profile - Qualifications: MBA from recognized university. Experience required: Min 4-5 years of relevant experience Job essentials: Excellent communication skill Ready to travel extensively Negotiation Skill Language(s) required: Fluency in English, fluency in the local language preferred.
