AVP/Sr. Manager – Wealth Management
o The primary responsibility of the person is to maintain a strong relationship around wealth management needs of the family / promoter / company (who are the potential clientele)
o Run an independent book of advisory AUM alongside working on structuring the right products based on the risk profile with help from the management
o Expand the client base of the firm by placing the main fund of the firm to the suited client base with help from the senior management
o Responsible for generating business from Mutual Funds - Equities / Debt, PMS, Bonds, FDs, Structured products etc. (Individual as well as Team).
o Focus should be on AUM.
o Responsible for the profitability of the business
o Provide strategic direction to the Wealth Advisory Division to enable business growth (I-Products)
o To sell investment services to high net worth individuals primarily through face-to-face meetings and networking with various sources through direct prospecting, cultivation of external referral sources and creative networking with key influencers.
o Responsible for identifying and building high-quality client relationships within the high net worth market.
o To research prospects financial picture to develop an informed perspective on individual prospect and/or client situations and possible needs in order to determine how to best provide service as well as to use as a vehicle for selling products which will preserve and grow client’s wealth.
o To achieve revenue goals, be responsible for generating their own leads and manage the sales process through closure. Once closed, to be responsible for transition of day-to-day management of the client to designated Portfolio Officer.
o To maintain periodic contact with existing clients and acts as a liaison between the client and the rest of the business for various activities (e.g. setting up accounts, facilitating transactions).
o Represent personal financial planning in various business councils and task forces such as: personal fiduciary service, investment management, financial consulting as well as through visibility within the community by attending networking events and/or holding memberships within organizations which serve the high net worth population in the market.
o Provides written quarterly updates on their business providing information on new clients, existing clients, potential clients and overall percentage of revenue goal
o Efficiently troubleshoot issues and/or problems in a timely manner; seek guidance if needed-
To kick start sales and marketing. Expedite outsourcing sales and marketing activities, including digital marketing efforts from a professional agency.
o Complement investments made in product execution team, who can support new customers with some acts of balancing CRM gaps, execution gaps in every i-product divisions.
o To sign SLA with respective operating companies for availing their infrastructure, license and services.
o Hire, coach and motivate a team of Wealth Management Advisors to achieve and exceed the client service benchmarks and sales goals
o Communicates all relevant and critical information to management in a timely manner
o Implement review systems for the business including Monthly review meetings
o Budgeting, costing and cost controls
o Provide customized solutions to the clients by evaluating their risk assessment & financial needs.
o Acquisitions of new clients & existing clients by selling broking as well as wealth management products.
o Achieve acquisition & revenue targets.
Qualification And Experience:
I. MBA with Minimum 12 years of experience with at least 5+ year’s experience in leading / supervising teams ideally in multiple office locations & prior work experience in either of leading wealth management/stock broking/Equity PCG firms or in banks or as a corporate banker to SMEs, family businesses and promoters and who have experience with capital markets and sales
II. Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on individually-assigned tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where superior time-management and prioritization skills are essential.
III. Possess outstanding business leadership, people development and cultural change management skills gained within the financial services industry.
IV. Extensive experience within investment banking, private banking, private wealth offices, investment boutiques
V. Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements of all products.
VI. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate internally and externally
VII. Proven track record in generating sales and managing relationships with high net worth clients, including broad technical skills in retirement products, general investment matters and applicable tax issues.
VIII. Demonstrated experience understanding a client's unique financial situation, providing appropriate advice and solutions, and exhibiting financial leadership.
IX. Excellent interpersonal skills and client face-to-face relationship building skills
