Job Description

MAIN DUTIES
Define, build and maintain in good operational conditions complex technical environments with respect to SLAs.
Incident management.
Monitor KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
Proactive actions involving optimization, improvement and automation of technical platforms
Make recommendation on architectural and technical updates: hardware, technology & equipment
Participate to evolution & implementation projects from the planning to the operational support phases
Organize and participate to technical committees
Write and keep up to date the technical documentation of different systems and architecture
Provide support & training to systems administrators

TECHNICAL SKILLS - OS

MUST HAVE NICE TO HAVE

AIX 5.3/6.1/7.1/ VIOS 1.5/2.2/IVM/NIM.
AIX level 3 support.
System p Virtualization LPAR/DLPAR/VIO/NPIV
IBM Blade Centre hardware knowledge.
Working knowledge of EMC/HP/IBM SAN w.r.t AIX OS.
Shell scripting
Experience and knowledge of Partition Mobility
Experience on HACMP version 4.4, 5.4, 5.4.1.
P-series Hardware
Working knowledge of FCM
AIX Certification
Experience and Knowledge on PowerPath/MultiPath
Knowledge to perform trend analysis of CPU/Memory/ Disk Utilization for Critical Servers SAN (EMC/HP/IBM)
Linux Administration
Automation expert.
HACMP Certification
Linux Certification
RedHat Cluster
TOOLS SKILLS

MUST HAVE NICE TO HAVE
Net backup, Backup Exe, RMAN,TSM
ITSM knowledge
Monitoring tool (CA Unicenter, IBM Director)
Batch scheduler (Control M) Knowledge on Printing tool like HPOMS

System configuration: hardware, storage, volume management
Startup & shutdown procedures
ITIL V3 Trained/Certified
