Job Description

Plan the Marketing communications calendar (ATL+BTL) in tune with companys
Responsible for strategic inputs into brand/creative development and executing
communications strategy
Develop & communicate marketing briefs and liaise with Advertising PR and Event
management for communication designs and brand executions
Co-ordinate with the AD agencies for timely and effective delivery on advertising
promotions/media relations etc.
Coordination with BTL agencies and ensuring effective execution, Media buying and
Brand building activities
Create an exhaustive merchandise program/ online co-branded stores. Also
have a steady bench of merchandising vendors to continually improve quality and
array of merchandise and reduce/challenge costs
Translate Marketing vision and strategies into tactical/strategic execution plans
Make sure other marketing personnel like online manager, social media manager are
aligned on the brand strategy and all initiatives are in line with overall vision for the
Manage newsletters and mailers users and ensure regular and timely
delivery of the same
Write and review press releases and ensure it is being disseminated in the media
(liase with PR agency and have ROI driven intent)
Create speaker opportunities for company spokespersons and ensure nomination of
the company to awards/recognition
Liaise with journalists and bloggers to ensure relevant coverage in offline/online
Represent company at industry events and engage with potential consumers/partners
Network with marketing/media/influential people in order to deliver a great
perspective / brand image
Manage the blog/Travel Diaries and ensure posting of relevant, interesting,
engaging content on our corporate blog
Ensure an ongoing conversation / buzz about company in the blogosphere
Manage consumer feedback emails and timely respond to them

Talk to select consumers over phone / email and get feedback on our brand /
product - suggest product improvements to tech team
Implement a work system that ensures adherence to timelines and quality with
specific reference to agency reviews, MIS, competition tracking & budget monitoring

Knowledge on Brand Management, Brand Health Monitoring, PR activities, Ground
Activations, Events & Promotions & Implementation (ATL & BTL), Budget Planning
and Tracking
Analytical bent of mind and data driven for ROI calculations. Ability to measure and
track all initiatives
Practical execution and creation of "stuff" required to support Marketing strategy
Self starter with a high level of drive and commitment
High energy and drive to work in a startup environment.
Conceptual thinking, flexibility and ability to juggle with multiple responsibilities.
Ability to work under pressure and confidence to deal with complex issues
Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize.
Hands-on and detail oriented and speed to market.
